NBC Sports Washington recently announced its inaugural All-DMV High School Football Team, recognizing the DMV's top student-athletes during the 2019 season. The selections were determined by NBC Sports Washington's editorial staff that covers high school sports throughout the region. Congratulations to outgoing senior Matt Hibner (First Team) and rising Senior Billy Edwards (Honorable Mention) for being recognized!
On February 5, two 2020 Bruins made their college choices official and signed to play at the next level for schools to whom they had previously given their verbal commitment. Defensive Tackle Zach Kongolo signed to play at Salisbury (MD) University and Running Back Joe Murray inked to the College of William and Mary. The two standout players celebrated with their coaches and teammates in a short ceremony after school on Wednesday.
Kongolo and Murray join fellow 2020 Bruin Tight End Matt Hibner as official next level signees. Hibner signed his National Letter of Intent to the University of Michigan during the "early" December signing window.
Best of luck, boys! We are very proud of you and know you will represent yourselves, families, and Lake Braddock well!
